The Snom 300 is the entry level business IP phone from Snom that offers great features at an affordable price. The Snom 300 is intended for desk workers or common work areas such as hallways or break rooms. It has a outstanding build quality and can handle medium call traffic while providing fundamental business features.
The snom 300 features four lines (SIP account registrations). This means it can handle four calls at the same time and have four different telephone numbers that ring it (extensions). Or you can simply use up to four lines with the same extension number.
The Snom 300 has two RJ45 Ethernet ports so your computer can plug into the back of it to share the same LAN or internet connection. This means that there is no need for additional cabling or the added expense of a Network switch to begin using your Snom IP Phone today. The Snom 300 includes a power supply but can also be powered by Power over Ethernet (POE, IEEE 802.3af). This makes the phone more flexible and can dramtically reduces cable clutter and power supply issues.

When it comes to user friendliness, the snom 300 sets new standards: A two-line graphical LCD display enables the display of call information, and the menu-driven user interface provides the simplest method of feature management. Via the navigation key, the user is guided intuitively through the telephone menu. More complex telephone functions, call details and configuration possibilities are accessible via your Internet browser thanks to the embeded Web Server.
Six free user or administrator-configurable (or carrier-preconfigurable) function keys can be easily allocated to security-related menu functions, or simply assigned to multiple lines.
As the snom 300 supports all of the common compression codecs such as G.729a and G.711, it is compatible with numerous components provided by other manufacturers and can be used in low-bandwidth environments.
